At Twistient, we are pioneering a new era of AI by developing neuromorphic processors that emulate the human brain's efficiency, adaptability, and are orders of magnitude more energy-efficient than traditional digital chips.
As AI advances, traditional von Neumann computing architectures are hitting physical limits. By 2030, AI could consume over 10% of global electricity if we continue relying on existing architectures. This is not only unsustainable but severely limits AI's potential. Moreover, if a new computing paradigm does not succeed, AI could develop in a way that is misaligned with humans.
We believe the path forward lies in neuromorphic processors - building AI hardware that emulates the human brain's efficiency and adaptability. Just as ANNs revolutionized AI software, neuromorphic chips will revolutionize AI hardware and usher in a new era of ultra-low-power edge AI computation.
